Learn Chinese in China
Study Chinese Mandarin – beginner to advanced classes.
Whilst we offer Chinese Martial Arts training, we also provide you the chance to learn Chinese (Mandarin) in our classroom during the evenings.
NEW: We now offer Chinese language instruction aligned with the internationally recognized HSK standard. Find out more about the HSK system here.
Mandarin Chinese has more native speakers than any other language in the world, making it an incredibly useful language to learn. The Chinese lessons we offer are held in the YunTai Mountain International Culture and Martial Arts School. Teachers and supervisors are native speakers who are experienced and qualified in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Our school is officially working with the Jiaozuo University for long term language courses, which means that students will now have the chance to obtain an official document, where the government will give recognition of educational qualifications. Also, getting a long term Visa won’t be a problem anymore, as the university will help us extend your visas for up to three years!
Our Chinese Language Programs are designed to immerse participants in Mandarin through class instruction, language exchange with native Mandarin speakers and optional electives. The programs integrate all aspects of the language: reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, phonetics and vocabulary. Accelerated teaching methods allow participants at lower proficiency levels to acquire the language skills needed for effective communication in a short period of time. Topics studied include everyday situations and Chinese culture, society and history.

Learn Chinese Based on the HSK Standard
From now on, all students who choose half-day Chinese language classes combined with half-day training, as well as those enrolled in full-day Chinese language programs, will be taught according to the official HSK system (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi).
HSK is the internationally recognized standard for assessing Mandarin Chinese proficiency for non-native speakers and is supported by the Chinese Ministry of Education. It provides a clear learning structure, measurable progress, and globally comparable language certifications.
What is HSK?
HSK stands for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi and is a standardized testing and learning system for Mandarin Chinese. It divides language proficiency into several levels (HSK 1 to HSK 6), ranging from basic everyday communication to near-native fluency.
HSK-based instruction focuses on:
- systematic vocabulary development
- clearly defined grammatical structures
- listening comprehension, reading, and writing skills
- practical, real-life language usage
This approach allows students to clearly understand their current proficiency level and their ongoing progress at all times.
HSK Examination and Official Certificate
At the end of their training period, students have the opportunity to take an official HSK examination and obtain a corresponding internationally recognized certificate.
Please note:
- Examination fees are not included in the program tuition
- Early registration is required, as examination slots are limited
- Students receive academic support and preparation for their respective HSK level
The HSK certificate is a valuable credential for academic studies, exchange programs, and professional opportunities involving China or the Chinese language.
Benefits of HSK-Based Instruction
HSK-based instruction offers significant advantages for students who want to learn Chinese in a structured and goal-oriented way:
- International recognition: HSK certificates are recognized worldwide by universities, educational institutions, and employers.
- Clear learning objectives and structure: Each level builds logically upon the previous one, supporting sustainable learning and long-term motivation.
- Measurable progress: Defined HSK levels make language development transparent and easy to document.
- Strong preparation for academic and professional paths: HSK certification is a major asset for studying in China, participating in exchange programs, or pursuing careers related to China.
- Holistic approach combining language, culture, and discipline: When combined with physical training, students benefit from a balanced program that strengthens focus, endurance, and cultural understanding.
